I. Book YOUR date.
Send us a quick hello using our contact form and we'll email you back shortly to schedule an introduction call. This allows us to get to know your wedding vision a bit better and answer any photo or video questions you may have.
II. Let's get creative!
Whether we start with an engagement shoot or meet you in person on your big day, we'll be by your side throughout the entire process capturing all the memories that are important to you. We understand that posing for a camera can be nerve-wracking! Don't worry about a thing- we'll guide you through some instruction to pose in front of the camera, while also capturing candid moments along the way.
III. Delivering memories.
We like to send a few sneak peek photos the day after your wedding so you can rejoice in some of the beautiful moments with each other, family and friends.
After 6-8 weeks, we'll send you a sharable, online gallery with your high quality, edited photos and videos that you will treasure for a lifetime.

Do you Travel?
We do! We're happy to travel worldwide to capture your big day. For drives longer than 1 hour from Toronto, we do charge a small travel fee. Please send a message if you're planning a destination wedding so we can customize a package for you.
How do we get our photos?
We upload all of your photos on to a password-protected gallery which is easily sharable to family and friends. All photos will be optimized for social media use.
What's your turn around time?
All of your keepsake memories will be delivered within 8 weeks from your wedding date. We also send a few "sneak peek" photos a few days after your wedding so you can have a taste of what your gallery will look like.
How long have you been doing this?
Our photographers have been capturing love stories since 2018. We've worked for multiple companies, practicing our style and direction. The Big Day was born in 2020, committing to a few clients each year, we create memories that you'll cherish for a lifetime.
How many photos can we expect?
Our primary photographer delivers around min. 50 - 100 photos per hour. Photo count will increase with a secondary photographer.
Do you edit photos?
Yes, all photos delivered will be professionally edited by our main photographer. We do not outsource our editing. Our style is "bright colours with light and airy tones," but we can also customize our editing to your vision.
What's your payment schedule?
We require a 30% deposit and a signed contract to lock in your wedding date, 30% due one month before your wedding date, and the remaining balance due upon delivery. We're open to adjusting your payment schedule.
Can I print my own photos?
Of course! The Big Day is no longer offering albums, we recommend using an online photo book designer to create your own albums like blurb or shutterfly.
what is in a highlight video?
Our highlight videos beautifully showcases your entire wedding day from the getting ready nerves to the late night dancing. Our highlight videos are typically between 5 to 7 minutes in length. With a second videographer, our highlight video edit is longer in length.
What should we do for an engagement session?
Our team has a few favourite spots around the city, but we're open to any location that you have in mind. Our engagement sessions are 1 hour in length and we'll guide you through a few posed and candid poses to bring out your giggly personality.
are weddings the only thing you photograph?
Aside from weddings and engagements, we capture all types of events from commercial shoots to social pop-ups. Contact us for details.
How early in advance should we book you?
As soon as possible! We believe, alongside the venue, finding the right photographer is one of the first things you should decide on for your wedding day. Chances are, other couples will be looking at your date, and we do not want to miss an opportunity to be a part of your big day!
